2018 in Review

Now that it’s New Year’s Eve, I thought I’d take a look at everything I managed to accomplish this last year. It was rough in a lot of ways, and I tackled a lot, so here we go! In 2018, I…

 

-        Wrote two books

-        Completely finished edits on A Soldier and a Liar

-        Met so many amazing fellow Novel 19 authors

-        Traveled to Australia, Thailand, and Cambodia

-        Met my pen pal of six years for the first time

-        Continued traveling around Japan

-        Danced in the Shibuya Kagoshima Ohara Matsuri

-        Walked to all 29 stations on the Yamanote Line in one day

-        Climbed Mt. Fuji

-        Made an international move

-        Bought my first car

-        Started my MFA and made a ton of amazing new writer friends and mentors

 

This year has been such a trip of up and downs, but I'm so thankful for everything I've been able to experience and all the wonderful people I've been able to meet. And now, I'm stoked for 2019; I can’t wait to see what this next year holds. Happy New Year, everyone!
