It’s shocking, I know, but I am actually still alive (somehow). I’ve never been good at keeping up with any kind of social media platform, but this past year has been difficult in a lot of ways. It was easier for me to just disconnect most of the time. But I’d like to start doing better—or at least keeping the site up-to-date with important information.
That said, the sequel and conclusion to A Soldier and a Liar will be releasing in less than three months (!!!) and is titled An Outcast and an Ally! You can find the official release announcement and more information here and, if you’d like, you can pre-order from your preferred book-provider here. The paperback version of A Soldier and a Liar will be releasing on the same day (4/21/20) with a slightly updated cover, so if haven’t read it yet, now is a good time to get into the duology!
Writing Lai, Jay, Al, and Erik’s story has truly been a journey. Writing these books took me nearly a decade and I don’t have the words to express how much this story means to me. There were so many times I wanted to give up, or that I thought no one but me would ever care about these characters, but having written The End has given me so much happiness even as I’m mourning the end of this particular quest. I hope you all enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed writing it!
